Overview

The Neo-Arabic Boutique Café is a “Modern Oasis” designed to rebrand Middle Eastern heritage through a luxury lens. Within a compact 40-square-meter footprint, Arel Studio created a high-end sanctuary that balances cultural identity with contemporary sophistication. The project serves as a serene escape from the urban hustle, offering an atmospheric experience that celebrates authentic materials and historic architectural motifs in a new, minimal form.

The Arched Sanctuary

We utilized intricate Mashrabiya screens as a primary design element, allowing for a play of light and shadow that mimics traditional Arabic dwellings. These arched niches not only organize the seating areas but also serve as curated backdrops for the café’s bespoke furniture and artistic displays.

Corporate Interior Innovation

Arel paired this soft overhead texture with a warm, earthy palette of sand-toned plaster and rich walnut accents. The seating features custom-designed cushions with traditional patterns, integrated into a monolithic built-in bench system that maximizes the limited floor area while maintaining an ultra-premium feel.
